With the power and runtime of an Efoil, the lightness and adaptability of an Assist, the Fusion earns its name as the perfect blend of both worlds.
As its name suggests, the Fusion is a true hybrid electric foil system, bringing together the best of both worlds in one neat, versatile package. An Efoil Alternative, the Fusion is the ideal tool for long rides, learners and performance riders alike. Why an alternative? Because the Fusion isn’t limited to just an efoil like others. By simply switching to a shorter cable length, it transforms into an extremely powerful, long-runtime Foil Assist.
One Tool, Endless Possibilities.Unlike the other two systems in the Gen2 range, the Fusion doesn’t carry the “Assist” in its name Thanks to its technical advancements, it stands apart in its own subcategory, Gen2.5.
FUSION 860 BATTERY
Keeping the lightweight, hydrodynamic form of the Assist range, the Fusion delivers more power and longer runtime with its 864 Wh Fusion 860 Battery and 43 volt electronics.
The removable battery uses a fully enclosed one-piece housing with an integrated nose cone for durability, water resistance, and long-term reliability, making It easy to swap, transport, and protect.
The Fusion 860 Battery includes a Smart BMS (Battery Management System) that actively monitors, protects, and manages the battery to maximize safety, performance, and lifespan. It communicates directly with both the Battery Caddy and the Foil Drive App, providing clear insights into battery health and State of Charge (SoC).

Weight Optimized Design
A major focus in developing the Fusion was maintaining our lightweight approach. While it is our longest and heaviest system, both the frontal surface area and weight distribution have been refined to minimize drag and improve balance underfoot. Packing this much runtime into such a compact system is unique to the Fusion. At just 8.35kg/ 18.4lbs, it is larger than the Foil Assist but remains extremely lightweight as an efoil alternative.
Intelligent Tilt Sensor (IMU)
An optional feature that detects when the board passes a preset pitch or roll angle. Factory set to 30°, the system will shut off the motor if the board tilts beyond this point, ideal for learners or riders who need extra stability.
Live Session Data via the Controller GPS
View key session data right on your controller! See your live speed, top speed, and total distance covered. Future controller updates will sync this data to the Foil Drive App.
Battery Caddy
Each Fusion Battery comes with a Battery Caddy for physical protection and battery management. The caddy displays charge level and can run a discharge cycle. For longevity, we recommend storing your battery at 30-60% charge. The caddy can discharge through its heatsink, or you can use its USB A and USB-C ports to charge your phone, laptop, or controller!

The Fusion is designed for two types of riders:
1. You want an adaptable, lightweight efoil system for leisure foiling or learning
2. You’re after a Foil Assist with the MOST time in the water with high runtime and MORE Power.
You’re either wanting to stay out longer, or needing the extra power (Heavier riders, those using smaller board and foils may enjoy this!)
Bonus we’ve called the Fusion an Efoil Alternative because it never locks you in to being just an efoil.
Especially if efoiling is your first discipline, you can simply change to a shorter motor position and you’ve now got
a very capable foil assist! A system you can grow with, not grow out of!

Power to Weight Ratio
- 4.35 N/KG Power To Weight Ratio is calculated by Thrust ÷ Install Weight. It indicates how much thrust a system produces relative to its weight. The final number is the units of thrust per unit of weight. For example 4.35 Kg of Thrust (Newtons) per Kilogram of Weight. It can be used to compare other systems in market.
